Screen Overload

ABOUT:

For this class project we were asked to use motion design to develop a series of posters exploring contrast that we would have to project in a public space. Screen Overload is a set of posters that use digital messaging to encourage viewers to break from the screen and reconnect IRL or “in real life.”

THE PROCESS:

The poster series represents contrast in several different ways- color, use of space, and mood- however the main point of contrast is the use of digital messaging in order to encourage less time one digital devices. Arcade and 8-bit video games served as the original inspiration and I developed concepts and messaging for each poster from there.
